Roots and differences: Small parts of Luxembourg in the US (2)
For several days now, 25 students of „Lënster Lycée“ have been staying with their respective host families in La Crosse. On their way to southwest Wisconsin, they met with descendants of Luxembourgish immigrants in Chicago, Port Washington, Belgium and Dacada. Most of them take pride in their heritage and profess their love for their ancestors’ home country.

While there are many more factors that make Luxembourg a great country, something that can absolutely surprise people is the mindset of the population. Not only do they enjoy a slower pace of life than Americans, but they also like to think that everything is possible. This mindset is obviously highly supported by the people around them who share the same belief, including those in the government.
