Description:

The Risk Management Department acts as second line of defence in protecting the Bank against Financial Risks and Operational Risks, and work closely with the whole firm in order to allow management to make informed, risk-based decisions in line with the Bank’s risk appetite. Within the Operational Risk Management function we are looking for an Operational Risk Officer who supports the identification, the assessment, the monitoring and the mitigation of operational risks. 

 

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework
  • Perform analysis of Operational incidents (including the setup of meetings with business lines and drafting memo events)
  • Maintain the Operational Risk event database
  • Help on the preparation of Risk Management Committee
  • Participate in the review and challenge of RCSAs
  • Participate in the review and challenge of KRIs
  • Help on the preparation of ICAAP report including the definition and implementation of scenario analysis
  • Answer inquiries from the Group
  • Uploading RCSAs and significant event in the Risk Group system
  • Prepare daily reports to the Management body

 

Job requirements:

  • Min. Bac +3 in Finance or Economics
  • Any specific certifications such as FRM are an advantage
  • Min. 2 years’ experience in Operational Risk and/or Custody Operations
  • Good understanding of financial risk techniques, including analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge and awareness of regulatory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg Funds and Banking industry, including regulations, as well as risk monitoring market practices.
  • Good command of MS Office applications,
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team spirit, stress resilience and analytical as well as problem-solving skills with strong attention to details.
